Terms of business

These terms explain how we work with you. Please read them before you send us an enquiry.

Last updated 12 October 2026.

Who we are

Flowzo is a trading name of Conor William Hull, an Appointed Representative (FRN 1031964) of Rural Finance Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 630701. You can check both entries on the Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.

Address: 41 Fairfield Road, Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, LS24 9SW. Phone: 0333 772 4865. Email: [email protected].

What we do

We are a credit broker, not a lender. We do not lend our own money. We introduce your business to lenders who may do. We work with a limited panel, not the whole market. We can introduce you to a number of carefully selected lenders, currently Funding Circle, iwoca, Momenta Finance (formerly Merchant Money), Shawbrook, Fleximize, YouLend, UK Agricultural Finance, Oxbury, Invoice finance panel and Braemar Finance, and we are only able to offer products from those lenders. There may be lenders or products elsewhere in the market that suit you better.

Finance is available subject to status, and each lender's own terms and conditions apply.

We arrange funding for limited companies and limited liability partnerships. Lending to a limited company or LLP is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Depending on your case we may approach every lender on our panel, several of them, or only one. We will tell you who we are approaching and why.

Most business and commercial finance, including lending to a limited company or LLP, falls outside the scope of Financial Conduct Authority regulation. That means the protections that apply to consumer borrowing, including referral to the Financial Ombudsman Service, may not apply to your agreement.

Advice and recommendations

We present options; you choose. We will explain how each option works, what it is likely to cost and which we think fits best, but the decision to go ahead is yours.

We do not give tax, accounting, legal or regulatory advice. If a decision turns on any of those, take advice from your accountant or solicitor before you commit.

We do not advise on whether borrowing is right for your business, and nothing on this site is a personal recommendation.

What it costs you

We do not charge you a fee for our services, however complicated your case turns out to be. There is nothing to pay if we cannot find you a loan, and nothing to pay if you decide not to go ahead.

We earn commission from our lenders. This can be a fixed fee, a fixed percentage, or a percentage that varies with the amount you borrow, so what we are paid can change depending on how much you take.

The rate of commission differs from lender to lender, and we may also receive further payment from a lender based on the volume, quality and performance of the business we place with them. You can ask us what we will be paid on your case at any time, and we will tell you.

Any fees charged by the lender — arrangement, documentation or completion fees — are set out in their offer before you accept anything.

How we handle the information you give us

Conor William Hull is the data controller for the information you give Flowzo, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under ZB881088. As an Appointed Representative we hold our own registration; Rural Finance Limited holds theirs separately and may see your information when supervising our regulated work. What we do with it. We use what you tell us to work out which lenders could help, to put your case to them, and to keep the records our principal and the regulator require. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. Who sees it. With your authority, the lenders we approach — currently Funding Circle, iwoca, Momenta Finance (formerly Merchant Money), Shawbrook, Fleximize, YouLend, UK Agricultural Finance, Oxbury, Invoice finance panel and Braemar Finance — and nobody else. Each lender becomes responsible for your information once it has it. Lenders search your business and the people behind it at credit reference agencies including Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, and may check your details with fraud prevention agencies such as CIFAS. A quotation or soft search leaves no mark other lenders can see; the full search a lender runs when you accept an offer does. Documents. Bank statements, accounts, VAT returns and identification are encrypted the moment they reach us, so they cannot be read from the storage they sit on. Only your adviser can open them, and they are deleted automatically after 90 days whether or not the application went ahead.

Everything is held on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, which is inside the European Economic Area.

We will never ask for your online banking password or login, and you should never give them to us or to anyone claiming to be us. If you give us information about other people — a fellow director, a shareholder, a guarantor — you must have their permission to do so, and they need to know their details are going to lenders and will be credit searched. We ask you to confirm this before we approach anyone on your behalf. You stay in control. You can withdraw your authority, ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Our privacy policy sets out the detail and how to complain to the Information Commissioner.

What we need from you

Information that is accurate and complete. Lenders make decisions on what you tell them, and an application that turns out to be wrong wastes your time and may be withdrawn.

Authority to act. Before we approach a lender we need your authority, and the agreement of each director or owner whose details we pass on, to a credit search on them.

If you give us information about other people, you must have their permission to do so and have shown them this privacy policy.

What you can expect

An enquiry involves no credit check. For most lenders the full search happens only if you accept an offer.

We will tell you honestly when our panel does not have a product that suits you.

Nothing is agreed until you sign a lender's agreement. You are free to walk away at any point before that.

If something goes wrong

Please tell us, and we will try to put it right. How to complain, and your right to take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service, is on our complaints page.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
