Can I use it with my usual merchant?
Some lenders require the merchant to be on their own approved list and pay the supplier directly, so it depends who you buy from and we will check yours before you apply. Others advance the money to you instead, so you can buy wherever you normally do.
Do I need to be a limited company?
No. Partnerships and sole traders can apply. We match you to lenders that work with how your farm is set up.
Will enquiring affect my credit score?
No. Sending us an enquiry involves no credit check. For most lenders the full search happens only if you accept an offer.
What rates can I expect?
It depends on the lender, the amount and your farm, so we do not publish one rate and pretend it applies to everyone. What we do is show you the cost in pounds, the monthly payment, the total and the interest, for every option on your shortlist before you choose.
